On Friday 27th September, Dave left home early doors (5am) to travel to Ardingly Reservoir.
The weather was Knaff, it rained all morning, and the wind was on the uppermost remit for a sheltered water environment.
Paddlesport Safety and Rescue or PSRC as its shortened name, is for some a prerequisite for Paddlesport Instructor and/or Paddlesport Leader held as a credential with Paddle UK.
Safety Frameworks (remits etc) as well as Rescue training are all included on this 8-hour (1 Day) course.
With a provider, 2 aspirant providers and 6 candidates we had a full course and sylabus for the day.
The interactions from the candidates were amazing, some great questions asked and answered, there were lots of demonstrations and conversations.
On the water was much the same as it stopped raining, and the wind dropped.
Many rescues were practiced, and I would say almost perfected and completed, What a great effort, in many different craft.
Excellent feedback went both ways after the course.
Yet another great day out on the water.
Well, done to all of the candidates. enthusiasm and a positive attitude made the whole day quite joy full.
Sorry as I had no phone reception, I didn’t take any pictures apart from the one but will add if I am forwarded any.
