This month’s Tring AquaPaddle had 18 participants in total, consisting of 14 on the water, we had 7 Marshals with 3 paddling and 4 on the bank.
4 kayakers and 10 paddleboards.
The weather was bright and sunny as is almost always the case when Dave organises something. 🙂
Winney was home in 1st place on his SUP with a time of 45.10 great stuff Winney.
Clare G was home in a closed cockpit single kayak with a time of 55.55 (setting a new record) Well done Clare.

The Tring Aquapaddle was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. I’m still quite new to paddling and it was great to be with a mix of those just starting, those with loads of experience and everything in between. My children and husband watched from the tow path and found a rope swing to keep them entertained. Afterwards we all enjoyed refreshments at the Grand Junction Arms. Thanks to the Marshalls were super helpful and offered encouragement to all. Already looking forward to October’s event.
