What a great day today was, the young lady in the picture featured is an inspiration, wanting to progress further in the world of paddle sport.
After an initial assessment she decided to go to the Paddle Explore PPA, this is an 8 hour Course with various conditions, in a sheltered water environment. Definitions for very sheltered and sheltered, can be found on the Paddle Uk website.
With Moving Water an upstream paddle, a thunderstorm, and a plan A, B and C, every event was assessed and catered for.
Reverting to a plan B, after a lunch break, (whilst sheltering from the storm) the assessment continued.
Navigating around obstacles and learning and putting into practice different stoke techniques, proved to be not only enjoyable but a valid learning tool.
