Membership Essentials
Does my membership include insurance and affiliation?
Our Annual Membership includes davepaddles membership, providing you with the necessary cover for 3 sessions.
Paddle Uk membership is required after 3 sessions.
How does the club ensure safety on the water?
For all water-based activities, we provide guidance and support to ensure everyone stays safe while having fun on the river.
Our staff are all fully qualified 1st aiders and hold a paddle uk qualification to lead / teach and coach on the water.
Can I earn paddling awards and track my progress?
For our Annual members, we offer the chance to pursue Paddle UK Personal Performance Awards (Start, Discover, Explore and paddle Safer), helping you track your progress and improve your technique. usually in year 2 of membership.
What types of craft are supported by the club?
We are a multi-craft club. Our memberships and trips are designed for paddlers of all disciplines, including Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Kayaking, and Canoeing.
Does the club offer activities other than paddling?
Yes! Beyond the water, we are a social community. All members are invited to our social gatherings to stay updated on club news. Additionally, our Annual Members receive exclusive invitations to wilderness hiking and camping trips throughout the season.
