Davepaddles.co.uk is run according to its governing documents and Paddle UK.
The Club Committee, Volunteers and Members follow these governing documents to create a fun and safe environment to improve our member’s paddling skills for all levels of ability.
Vision
The club is to provide an environment for its members that are caring, respectful and supportive, continually promoting both Paddle sports and personal development for each club member and a lifelong love of the sport. The club should be adaptive to the needs of the membership, whilst continuing to focus on developing skills within the sport.
Values
The club members and committee are to ensure the following values are met:
- Ensure a duty of care to all members of the club.
- Provide opportunities for members to develop skills in Paddle sports through coaching.
- Promote the development of coaching within the sport.
- Promote the club & Paddle sports within the local community and introduce more people into Paddle sports.
- The club is open to all over 16’s without discrimination and by acceptance.
- Listen to membership needs and desires for the operation and future direction of the club.
