4 club members ventured down to Kent to paddle to lovely river Medway, we set of from Hamstead lock and after the usual warm up and Safety brief paddled upstream passing the Oust house and disused lock.

We stopped off and had a lovely coffee and break at Branbridges where we were bathed in sunlight.

Back on the water we were privileged to see some planes that must have been taking part in an airshow somewhere including a tiger moth and a spitfire.
Portaging Sluice weir we continued upstream passing the now decaying diving platforms before arriving at Oak weir, were we had our lunch break.

After lunch we had a peaceful and meandering paddle back to the start.
Thanks go to Anthony for supplying the car sharing and transportation for this trip.
